You might also send an email to users that:

'your latest firmware or products is faulty, please don't use this product until we fix this bug because you will wreck your hard drive by having to unplug it everyday, and then you will have to sue us.'

You need to address this problem before it blows up in your faces.

If it only worked, product would be great, this is true. But it simply does not work.

@Zoro, I'm sorry that your Pogoplug is crashing and want to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I can tell you that consistent crashing is not a problem common to all configurations; if we found such an issue during the test cycle, we would have fixed it before releasing the firmware. There is likely something on one of your drives that your Pogoplug is tripping over. Certainly, it is not acceptable to expect Pogoplug to crash under any circumstance, but without more information we are unable to determine what exactly is the cause of your symptom. We will need to know that in order to solve this issue.

Please open a ticket with support at support.pogoplug.com, and they will work both to get you up and running and to gather the information necessary to identify the cause of this bug. I sincerely hope to get you back up soon!

I'll try support one more time to help you debug this, but if I'm told to run a check disk i'm through with this, I mean why force users to that every day?

The set up is simple:2 HDD one 320 gb, one 500gb, plugged via USB, now, 0 drives showing. Happens very 6-12hrs.

If, you had a remote reset option, I could just remote reset every time I wanted to use it - annoying, but the product is good enough that it would be worth the pain.

But you guys haven't put one in. Big over site that every router maker under sun has not missed.

Maybe you should just skip the pole step on what users want and give basics that we NEED on your next firmware update as you skipped this basic step and now your product is completely dysfunctional and not merely annoying.

Really, don't waste time on fluffy features guys. I am frustrated because you are so close to great product you guys are failing in such a big way due miss steps like this. I will try your support one more time.

Nicky,
This problem has been around since June 9? Why has it not been properly addressed?
