@billchase2, Active Copy will not copy files should those files already exist. It only copies either files that exist in the source folder but not in the destination folder, or files with the same name that exist in both locations but that are different from one another. An example of the latter case is:
- You create a word document on your desktop and save it to the folder you choose as your Active Copy source
- Active Copy copies that file to the destination folder on your Pogoplug drive
- Later, you modify the word document in your source folder and save your changes to the file
- Active Copy will see that the file has changed and copy it over to the destination folder, replacing the old version

A quick question for you guys regarding Active Copy.
Yesterday, I picked up a new iMac. It's internal hard drive is much larger than my last computer, so I decided to copy my music to it from my external hard drive (that I'm using as a media server via Pogoplug). Currently, the exact same music files are on both my iMac and the external hard drive.
If I enable Active Copy to keep the audio files synced between the iMac and external hard drive, will it re-copy all of the files over since they already exist in both locations? I am hoping that Active Copy is smart enough to see that the files already exist both place and does not start re-copying them all over (possibly making duplicates).
Excellent, just the answer I was hoping for. It looks like Active Copy will be the perfect solution from me. It will allow me to have local backups along with my online backups via CrashPlan.
Thanks!
