So I activated my pogoplug and hooked up my HDD no problem. Next thing I know the HDD is no longer accessible. The front light is now amber. I thought maybe removing the device as a registered pogoplug would help in my troubleshooting but now all I have is an amber light and I cannot reactivate my pogoplug as it says it cannot automatically find it. I put the pogoplug outside the firewall and even hooked it up before the router and it still is not doing anything but a solid amber light. I can see the device in my DHCP table though.

Solid amber means no connectivity to pogoplug service...
