Hi, ran a search and didn't find this, so...

Because transfer speeds to PogoPlug are so slow over the network, I have taken to plugging the Pogo-connected external drive into my PC everytime I want to transfer larger files, then plugging it back into PogoPlug.

However, I have noticed a strange phenomenon where any file that has been transferred off the local PC drive once (but a copy still remains on the local drive), now transfers from the PC to anywhere else (via USB: external, flash, etc.) EXTREMELY slowly. I have tested this on files within the same folder, and a previously-transferred file will be glacial while a never-transferred file will be completely normal.

The problem sounds totally illogical--how could this happen? Maybe it's some weird indexing thing? I don't have any of the ActiveDrive or auto-backup functionalities enabled, so I can't for the life of me figure out what is happening.

It's hard to believe this could be related to PogoPlug; then again, the problem is so easily reproduced and quantifiable it's hard to believe it could be caused by anything else. Maybe some Windows service isn't playing nice with PogoPlug?

Any known issues with this stuff?
