From what I understand, nothing is ever stored on popplug servers - data is only kept on your drive and nowhere else.
It sounds like your work's firewall is causing problems on - they might be blocking specific ports for uploading files.

I've been trying to upload files to my Pogoplug, and it just doesn't seem to want to work.
I used the web interface to upload these files, I then get the box where I have to attach a file, then once I do attach a file I click on Upload. The file appears to upload, but then, when I check my Pogoplug, the file is no where to be found!
I've read in other posts that the Pogoplug servers (which is where, I guess, the uploaded files first go to) are sometimes slow, but I've been waiting for days for files of various sizes (small to large) and the files just don't appear.
Note that I try doing this upload from work where there is a firewall, but I'm assuming that if the firewall was blocking it, I wouldn't get that progress bar telling me that it was uploading the file.
Also note that I can use the Windows application at home to transfer files to the Pogoplug without any problems.
Any help would be appreciated!
I'm still wondering, though, why the progress bar comes up showing that it's uploading. The progress bar even shows varying upload speed from 3.8MBs to 4.1MBs.
Regardless of that, do you know what specific ports are needed to upload? I assumed that, since this was a web interface, that the upload was done via port 80. Would that be correct or is some other port used?

The only thing I can find about ports is in this article about UPD: Here. That article only mentions the desktop ap though. I can find no mention of port 80 being used whatsoever but that doesn;t mean anything. I cannot say for sure, but it is possible that some proxing is being done at a higher level
My guess is that the uploading that you think is happening isn't really happening - your office firewall isn't processing things.
I don't have any knowledge about what ports the web interface is using for uploading.
