I don't care about streaming videos much to my BB but I was hoping to be able to access files/docs. When I open the app on my 8530 it does absolutely nothing but show me the categories and no files. What is the "My Files" supposed to be showing? I can move the selector between two blank lines and either one opens up the blackberry web browser that instantly errors out on a non existent page.

Sadly, I don't have a BlackBerry to test on - but this sounds like it isn't able to access your drive at all. I'd contact Pogoplug support to have them check it out, or at a minimum, potentially try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and rebooting your Pogoplug (basic troubleshooting stuff)

I've done all these basic things numerous times trying to work out other issues. Strangely enough when I change the settings in the blackberry app to "show drives as shares" it shows some of my main folders...only the ones I recently shared with my wife via the web interface share options. What the heck?? I just removed the app and will reinstall and see what happens.

Are you connecting via Wi-Fi on local LAN or 3G?

I have a Bold 9700 and haven't tried it lately but the browser setting and how you are connecting can sometimes cause this.

Let me know how you are connecting and what your browser settings are and I will match and see if it helps figure it out.

I've been testing using wifi enabled on my phone. I reinstalled the app and it seems I can only see any of my own folders unless I go under Files I Share. Do I have to be sharing all of my folders in order to see them with the mobile app?

Any other suggestions? Should I put a ticket in? I'm not transcoding any of my files so I don't expect them to show up under music, movies etc, but I would like to be able to access some documents. As I mentioned I don't see anything under "My Files" the only way I seem to be able to see any of my data is if I go under Files I share in the BB app. Do I need to share all of my folders in order to see them in teh BB app even though I'm using the same main account? Also what IS supposed to show up under "My Files"

I'm having the same problems as you are TekWarren. I hadn't used by BB app in a few months but tried it today and it is not longer showing anything but the Files I Share. This was working perfectly a few months ago.

What OS and phone are you using? I just went to OS 6 on my Bold 9700 and am having the same problem.
Maybe something RIM changed?

I also went to OS 6 and suddenly my Pogo App is worthless. I can see all of my files by selecting "Files I Share," and it even lets me select certain media files (I've only tried with music, not video). The player comes up, sometimes even the album art. But alas, no playing. It doesn't freeze. Just won't play. I'm very sad about this and would love to see an updated Pogo app soon!

I see this is not a new problem. I'm having the same issues with my 9700. It would be nice to hear some *official* word from CloudEngines. After all, they do advertise that BlackBerry is supported it doesn't seem to be.

If I had known about the issues with BB support, I would have considered other products.

I just submitted a "support request". We'll see what good that does...

When I first downloaded the Blackberry Pogo App I was a bit disappointed by its half-finished feel, but thought, yeah, it's hard to write a mobile app and the PP is slow in most aspects anyway - Having now seen the iPhone version which is cooler than a cool thing from Coolshire, I can now see what I'm missing and feel cheated to have the cinderella of mobile versions...
