I'm having the same issue. The drives connected to the Dockstar randomly lose their connections. It works when I log in and check the Active box again, but on any given day one or more of them lose connections.

I have a dockstar with three drives attached to it.
I have many times tried to turn windows file sharing on for all three drives, but only one drive will show up on a windows explorer under the network shares. When I visit my.pogoplug.com and the WFS page, I can see that that drive is marked "Read and Write" while the other two drives have an empty checkbox next to "ACTIVE".
If I check that ACTIVE box and go away/come back to that page, they then say "Read and write" and show up in the network explorer box.
But, those settings don't stick. If I turn the dockstar off and then back on, it shows exactly what it did before.
How do I get WFS settings to stick for all three drives.
And almost the exact same is true for UPNP settings in the media page, except, none of the settings survive past a reboot, all of the drives are marked disabled upnp after a reboot of the dockstar.
