Hi,

Having problems getting my Pogoplug to work.  The latest issue is that the device seems connected, in that I can see a folder called "Files shared with me" but I can't see the other files I know are on the hard drive.  The clue all is not well comes from the fact I've got a solid orange light on the Pogoplug when I'm sure green is what I'm looking for.

A bit of research indicates it might be a problem with an IP address not being assigned by the router.  Checking the router set-up I can see it's found the Mac address and has given it an IP address, but hasn't given it a Host Name in the DHCP Client list.

I'm a bit stuck now as I don't know if this is the problem and if it is, how to fix it.  So any help gratefully received.

I'm starting from quite a low knowledge level so probably need pretty simple instructions.
