I am facing the same issue. If I open it in Safari on my Mac instead, I am not having issues.

Recently the user interface at my.pogoplug.com was updated to
UI Version: 2.5.4
Service Version: 2.5.4
Now when I access the Media Settings page using Internet Explorer 64 bit version 8.0.6001.18943;
The browser shows the busy 'sundial' and I am not able to access any of the settings on this page.
Is the pogoplug busy, as indicated by the busy sundial, or the hard drive busy (no indication of this via the had drive lights). The pogoplug internet connection does not seem busy either.
Other Account Settings displays seem to work okay.
This problem is only with the Account Settings - Media Settings page.

I tested on a couple other browsers:
Safari on Windows - busy sundial for only a second or two
CometBird on Windows - busy sundial for only a second or two
This problem appears to be a Windows Explorer 8 problem with the my.pogoplug.com website implimentation.

If I cancel the busy sundial, I can then access the various settings on this page.
If I leave this page and then return, the busy sundial re-appears.
It may be that the pogoplug is rescanning your media, whenever you open this Media Settings page. But my hard drive is not indicating any activity.
I don't understand what the busy sundial on this page is supposed to indicate.
Any other ideas, or we just ignore it.
