Hi everyone.

I'm really struggling to get my original xbox 1, running XBMC, to work with Pogoplug.

I checked the media sharing, and set the transcoding options to NEVER. (as it is not necesary to re-code for XBMC)

The PP then shows up as a UPNP on XBMC as POGOPLUG1.

XBMC can then list all the movies on the PP/hard drive.

However, when clicking on a movie to watch, it never loads.

whats annoying is I know this works, as I had it working on the first day I got my PP. But since then I just cant seem to get any success....

I've read through the other threads on the Forum, and there seems limited info on people running XBMC, expecially on an original xbox...

A person called Easymacfu claims success with this, but give slimited info..

Have other people fared any better then me with XBMC.

Help please !

just realised my problem is likely related to this 2.5.3 firmware issue affecting the PS3 streaming.

Which figures,  as I bought my pogoplug on 28th September and this update must have applied in just the last few days.

How annoying I spent 6 hours trying to fix this last last night -- and I also had this problem of the unit constantly transcoding even though I set it to NEVER. (which others have mentioned)

roll on a FIX soon Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in the same boat. I am 2.5.7 and have the same problem where the pogo plug shows up, but when you select the video you get nothing. Please help, I would love to be able to use xbox1 and xbmc with the pogo plug.

I'll add my vote for this as well...

Should work... the XMBC (running on XBox original) seems to work well w/ all my other UPnP servers... even those running on an Asus router...

No luck w/ the PogoPlug for serving video to XBMC ... yet...
