I have the exact same problem.
Sadly the only solution I have is to disconnect the whole share, let the xbox fail to detect it, then start a new share.
Really annoying. I think it's time to get a PS3. Boo.

I am frustrated. I have a 1tb harddrive using Pogoplug and it streams over my network to my Xbox360. Ever since I bought it, it has problems refreshing any changes I've made on the hdd, ie: adding files, deleting files, renaming files.
Mypogoplug website shows the updates, when I mount the drive on my computer I see the updates, but my Xbox360 never receives the updates. I have refreshed the cache and optional media update on the 360 multiple times, unplugged and restarted Pogoplug and the hdd, had Mypogoplug rescan the files, to no avail.
The Xbox doesn't want to load more than 1,980 video files (yes, I'm a tv show hoarder) and roughly 50% of those files no longer exist (name change or deletions).
Everytime I move a file on the HDD, I end up with a ghost duplicate on the Xbox Video Library. Some of my files are listed three or four times (with only one working).
To recap: xbox360 video library is showing ghost files, not loading the complete library, and not recognizing when files have been added/deleted/moved/re-named.
I've searched xbox forums also and can't find any answers. Hoping someone can help! Thank you for your time.
