This is coming about b/c I recently set up a dropbox folder to automatically trigger a print job. Hence letting me print from my android phone to my printer. Yay ! :) I set it up also with pogoplug and it works great because I can send practically any file to pogoplug from the directory browser. ...but there are some things that I might want to print that are not manifest as files in the sd card. some might be data in custom sqlite db's or email. In those cases, dropbox does well because you can "share to..." and select dropbox and the email or evernote file or whatever gets sent to the dropbox folder. I think this is done with what is called intents on android - calling registered services on another application to listen for an intent. Is this something that can be possible in a future release?
