@axiomcrs - there is no way to change the login screen unfortunately. It would be a good feature request but consider...until you log int, we don't know to who's account the customization belongs, since customization is tied to your account (and your Pogoplug more specifically).

You can indeed change the drive name - go to General Settings, and click the "rename" link next to the hard drive. If you are talking about seeing that name change in the drive application, you'll need to shut down the drive app then restart it, and the name change will appear - hope that helps!

Jon, do you know if we used the API, if we could build our own login screen that could log into your application?

Or could we use our own custom html login form with a "cross_post"? Something like:
