I used to be able to see videos and play songs on my xbox 360. At this time if I go to the video library on the xbox 360. The pogopug shows up just fine. If I click on it I get the folder local videos. After I click that all my videos, some are .mov, avi, mpg. I also have some mp4 videos that do not show up. If I click on any video are song and click play I get the error
The connection to your computer was lost make sure your computer is turned on, connected to the network, media sharing software. Status code 53-coodf238. And no video will play.

Can anyone help me this ?

this is the excate info i set to support and have not heard back.

I usually just switch pogoplug, modem, router off and on at the wall, come back into the living room, restart the xbox. Problem solved. I think it's to do with the xbox getting mixed up on ip addresses or something networky. A longer term solution is probably to give your pogoplug a fixed ip. There are various threads on how to do this.

I switch the pogoplug, modem, router, and xbox 360 off. restarted the modem, router, pogoplug and xbox 360 with no luck. Thanks for trying.

I agree with stewils - it sounds like a "networky" problem (I love that term by the way. I'll have to remember to use it again)

I think trying a fixed IP is a good option. Without having to hack into the Pogoplug, you can try modifying some settings in your router; Here is a suggestion from a thread on the community (Original thread here)

"I found the quickest and easiest way is to use "Reserved address DHCP" feature of your router (all different routers call them differently.)

This feature will RESERVE an ip address and associate it to a MAC address. I found this method to be much better in mixed environment (when not ALL your devices use static address and you have mixed) as when your device with static IP is not being used for a while and the IP is released by your router, then there is possibility of duplicate IP's being assigned. (of course, you can also limit the IP address range your DHCP will give out and assign all static ones to be outside of that range as well).

On my FIOS router (actiontec), it is under "advanced" -> "IP address distribution" -> "connection list" -> new static connection"

Give that a try while you are waiting to hear back from support - hopefully that will help!
