Zaggas, I can successfully do the following:

1) Log into Pogoplug Acct 1 (with a Pogoplug Biz registered to it) using Email Address A

2) Go to Settings -> Custom Mail Settings

3) Create custom email message, select Pogoplug Biz, and cllick Apply Below Changes

4) Return to Library

5) Rt-click on a folder on the Biz Pogoplug and select Share

6) Share the folder with Email Address B, which is not registered to Pogoplug Acct 1

7) Sign into email of Email Address B and view share notification

Result: I see the custom email text that I set.

Is this workflow that is not working for you? Am I correctly understanding the issue you are having?

OK. I think i understand whats happening now.

I am using horde for my email client, and when i am sending myself a test email there, i get the following, which is NOT what i set up in the custom mail setting pane:

"Welcome to Pogoplug!

"User" shared the folder "folder" with you.

Copy the link below into your web browser:

"URL"

Sent from Pogoplug

HOWEVER, i just discovered that there is an "unnamed" part to the email under "alternative parts", and when i click it it brings me to the custom email i orignially set up in pogoplug custom mail settings.

Why is this happening? Is it because the custom email is only HTML and maybe my client is only accepting plain text? If so, is there a way to fix this? Or is it something else?

LASTLY, only part of my custom email is being saved in the editor on my pogoplug custom mail settings, i cant see the whole thing, so it makes it harder to revise it if i wanted to. How can you fix this?

Thanks!

P.S. my registered email address is an AOL account, which displays HTML just fine i believe.

Yeah i just checked and i cant save any revision to the custom email settings anymore. it just sends out my first revision for some reason.

Zaggas, I replied in a different thread regarding not being able to revise custom email settings. This is now fixed.

Are you still having a problem with the default share notification email being sent out? Does this happen only when sending to the email address on the acct?
