Those could be pictures or images from an archived program or another program that you have not installed.
For example I archive my Symantec install program to my Pogoplug hard drive. They have a couple of JPG files that they use. So since they are the same type and file extension of my personal pics they show up in my library.
How to make them not show up would be to have the ability to select what folders the "My library" scans for pictures.
I have not seen an option yet do this, maybe I missed something, but that may be why you are seeing those pics.

When I click on photos in " My Library " random images which I never selected or uploaded from my computer show up. Does anyone know how to solve that problem?
Doing an ActiveCopy from the Pogoplug Drive application using the default source folders on your computer (Music, Pictures, and/or Videos) will result in the Pogoplug getting whatever was put into those folders by you or some software install (Oh, and whatever updates are made to these folders will transfer to the Pogoplug until the ActiveCopy is stopped - START in this case should be the button's label).
I know I was surprised when all sorts of stuff arrived on my Pogoplug. If you avoid the default folders and use your own folder/directory selection you will not have to delete all the "unexpected" files/folders that could be transported to the Pogoplug from the default source folders.
Oh, and remember this tidbit. It seems that you MUST "actually" delete the files on the Pogoplug. If a file/folder is deleted while using the Pogoplug Drive application it is an instance that apears to be only locally deleted. The file/folder is still on the drive attached to the Pogoplug. The file/folder will reappear on subsequent Pogoplug Drive use. To permanently delete a file/folder requires logging into the Pogoplug. I suspect this behavior is to prevent guests and others given access from destroying perfectly good files.
Keep in mind that anything that gets transported or written to the Pogoplug's attached harddrives, flashdrives, SSDD, etc. will be indexed and if it seems to be of the type that fits music, a reference gets into the Music Library, if the file is of a type that fits picture, a reference gets put into the Picture Library, and video results in a reference being put into the Video Library.
My experience is that the only choice to prevent unwanted music, pictures, and videos from getting into the Library is to not load them into a Pogoplug attached storage device.

This is very odd. How could it select two random folders from " My Pictures " when I hadn't turned on or configured an active copy to begin with. Maybe pogoplug likes seeing pictures of Las Vegas. I mean it could have selected one of 60 other folders I had in there...lol.
Just to give you some background as to my setup I have 1 flash drive and 1 Western Digital external 2 tb hard drive connected. Neither of the drives have the Las Vegas pictures on them. The only location of the Las Vegas pictures are on my local "c" drive on my computer in " My Pictures. "
Now forgive me if I'm missing something obvious here. I'm rather new at pogo Plug but I'm a bit confused. I've also checked the settings in my pogoplug software to see if that folder was ever linked somehow and it shows nothing is set up.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Just what I said! You wrote, "The only location of the Las Vegas pictures are on my local "c" drive on my computer in " My Pictures. ""
I had this same sort of mystery behavior until I noticed that when I was playing with the buttons of the Pogoplug Drive I left the button showing "STOP." This means in a convoluted sense that it needs to be clicked and changed to "START!" to stop the ActiveCopy I did not know that I had started.
The documentation is very quiet on a lot of this stuff. Keen observation and sheer luck will help.
I found this solution after a lot of head scratching. The "happy dance" was when I dumped a folder by mistake into My Video and all the "stuff" arrived eventually on the Pogoplug.
Another test to determine if you have shot yourself-in-the-foot with ActiveCopy is to move to another computer (of course with the owner's permission) and install the Pogoplug Drive application. For me, this confirmed, AGAIN, that these fun, eary to use, no brainer "social" networking tools have to be handled very carefully because there is the grave possibility of serious unintended consequences. If ActiveCopy is operating with or without your "knowledge" the files in the default folders, on this other computer, of My Pictures, My Video, and My Music will arrive on your Pogoplug.
To your comment about "nothing setup!" There is a setup on the Pogoplug and there is a setup in the Pogoplug Drive application. They seem to be mutually exclusive. Another key difference is the Pogoplug Drive application's use of the default setup if the "START/STOP" buttons are ckicked to see what happens and are left in the state I have previously described. This means only the click of the button and you are starting an ActiveCopy instance running!
It all boils down to, "The simpler it is whether real or implied the more complex it is to solve problems when they occur!" The Pogoplug brought the process to the simplest common demoninator. It is a bear to determine "why" when and if things do not work as expected.
Fortunately, in my experiences, while I was attempting to solve the mystery of the strange arrival of files on my Pogoplug nothing of value or of concern was sent and subsequently shared with the masses (no Oops!).
I learned from this activity, "Be careful of what buttons you push!"
Oh, keep in mind that you actually have to go to the Pogoplug to delete files/folders. Deleting files/folder during a Pogoplug Drive session only makes the file/folder go away for that session. The file/folder remains on the Pogoplug. So, this is one time you have to, "Go POGOPLUG!"
You also indicated that it only picked just a few of the folders to transfer to the Pogoplug. It does take some time to get files/folders transferred. Maybe you stopped using the Pogoplug Drive. The copying stops at that moment.
Then, of course, there are the rules of the GremLins and Murphy. Build the scenario and a result will arrive.

To clarify, the Active Copy function on my.pogoplug.com (web app)handles file copies between hard disk physically connected to the pogoplug.
Active Copy on the drive app handles file copies from locations external to the pogoplug connected hard drives, e.g. you computer C:, network etc.
