I ordered a SeaGate DockStar (pogo)... the where out of stock on new unit, so I got and open box unit that was reman.

Can't get the unit registered because it may have been registered before and was not giving a new activation key when it was reman.

what can I do to get this unit re-activated under my name...

What you would need to do is get the Pogoplug ID number off of the box and then contact Pogoplug support with your information and ID number.

They may need to confirm that you are actually the owner of the Pogoplug via a receipt or something but once confirmed they can set it up for you.

One would think they would have issue a new activation key code to a recertified unit or clear the server of the previous registered owner.
