The Pogoplug is designed only to work with USB hard drives and supported devices such as the Pogoplug WiFi dongle; a MagicJack will probably not work if you plug it into the Pogoplug.

Not sure if this is possible but could pogo plug be used for a magic jack connection?
Speaking of the wifi dongle, i received mine friday and plugged it in like the directions said.....i noticed that the little indicator light on the side of the dongle never has lit up.....has anyone else had this same thing???? Also, is it just me or isnt the wifi dongle supported yet by pogoplug???? Thanks in advance

Remember, its not what life does to you, but what you do with what life does to you, that matters.
No, Pogoplug runs Linux, and MagicJack still doesn't support Linux. It was promised years ago though...
I think somebody actually got the account without the dongle to work on Linux:

But of course, it is only for experimental purposes.
