Hello,

My objective:  transfer my favorite pictures from my Ipad shuttersnitch app to my pogoplug.

Why? I am using an SD eyefi card to transfer my pictures automatically from my camera to my ipad (shuttersnitch app) and review the pictures taken in my sofa with my wife (very convenient and easy).

Is there a smart way to do it. FTP? Or do you plan to have a partneship with EYFI or SHuttersnitch? Would alos be nice to keep the TAG on the pictures and he STAR!

Thanks

sylvain

Hi,

I have PogoPlug as well, and love it.

I don't think that it's possible, UNLESS you mount the PogoPlug as a drive, and have some FTP server write the files to that drive. So any FTP server (Mac or PC) would work, if they can mount the PogoPlug, but it will require you to have the PC/Mac on, so that ShutterSnitch could FTP out.

Cool?

Thx --

Ziv.

Hi Ziv,
Thank you for your answer. I am not sure to fully understand it. In Shuttersnitch, there is an FTP export function. So I just need to set-up an FTP server on the POGOPLUG drive, right? How do I do that?

Note that the disk space on the ipad is very limited (games, pictures...). The value of the ipad (for me) is really to SELECT and TAG (with a star) the best pictures I want to keep and transfer/backup to Pogoplug. This is not so easy at the moment...

The PogoPlug doesn't support FTP, out of the box. So you'll need to mount the PogoPlug, as a drive on your Mac or PC

Then, install an FTP server on your Mac or PC, and have that FTP server save media to the PogoPlug.

cool?
