Me too. At first just a similar blank page, now the site will not load at all! Would be nice if the tech guys would let us know if there is a system wide problem.

Have the same.

How often does this happen? Honestly?

ok managed to grab an error message from the web-window:

"An unexpected RPC error occurred on method listOwnerAlbums: { responseText: , httpStatus: 0 }"

What does this mean?

Mine is working as normal again

its functioning mad slow.... i cant even load usage statistics! im using opt online does that have anything to do with my network speed and does loading the contents of each folder have to do with upload speed? mine is 2mbps. is that enough?

I got same error as Zaggas. Am able to log in now but have experienced slowness over the last few days. Sure hope demand is not overwhelming physical/technical resources!

Seems to be working OK for me for both audio streaming and file access, just tested it now. I would recommend that those experiencing this contact Pogoplug support to let them know of the outage so they can help.

i just connected it to a fiber optic network and its still very slow. i have no idea whats up

September 8, 2010 6:59 PM

i contacted support. they havent even read my ticket yet according to the system and that was nearly a week ago. they have yet to handle my other concerns let alone answer this new one.

How could yours be working and mine not? That seems nearly impossible to me. But when i click an audio file NOTHING happens, or loads.

Where the heck do i get help with technical issues anyway? There's no phone number to call!

September 10, 2010 9:58 AM

AGAIN! all the lights are green and i have a fiber optic connection hooked up to the pogoplug now. there is no excuse for it not to be working. I paid $300 for this!!! How come it is not working and has issues that repeat themselves on or off?!

NO SUPPORT for this product whatsoever. Have contacted but no response for 4 open tickets since yesterday afternoon.

oh and my pogoplug discount was denied. i was offered 2 free biz upgrades instead. false advertising?

September 10, 2010 11:48 AM

Am slowly getting put off buying a Biz version, was looking at using for business.

It seems the UK pricing like it is for the PogoPlug pink is just not fair, what ever country your in its $99 £99 and the same seems to be the sam for the Biz model $299 will be £299 the exchange rate is not even applied.

Not a word of any money off discounts for exisiting UK pogoplug owners as such for the customers in the USA.

@Zaggas

I am glad we've finally straightened out a few issues and you now seem reasonably pleased with Pogoplug.

Kind Regards

@Chris

Yes. I want to thank the pogoplug support team for their responses today. They were most helpful. And i do see progress in terms of speed on the web-interface finally. it seemed to all be due to media processing - i have currently almost 5TB of data. it was scanning for days and now its on to actually going through the files. no wonder the web gui was so slow!

Thank you again. :-)

I paid £69.99 for my pink pogoplug at Currys which indicates an exchange rate of 1.41 US$ to the £.

I haven't seen the Biz on sale yet in UK so will have to wait and see! There is an offer of $100 discount for Biz for existing pogoplug owners. I can find nothing to suggest that this offer applies only in the US.

I applied for the free wifi adapter thinking it would only apply in US. However CE confirmed that I would receive one when they are available in UK during September.

So I think they are playing fair with pogoplug owners to date. Although the pricing practices you describe are too common in the UK.

Remember, its not what life does to you, but what you do with what life does to you, that matters.
