Is there a way we can opt out of the Google Analytics being used with all visits to my.pogoplug.com? I'd rather not participate.

1. Edit C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts

2. Add the following to the end of the file:

127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com
127.0.0.1 google-analytics.com
127.0.0.1 ssl.google-analytics.com

3. Save the file and reboot.

Note: The Hosts file is located in different locations in different operating systems. Click here for a great discussion of editing the HOSTS file on your system.

Of course, this doesn;t help when you are on the road using shared computers or sharing links with friends...
