Hi.  I'm considering getting an IPAD 3G and a Pogoplug for use with Digital Photography.  I'm currently using a 13" MacBook Pro when we travel overseas but with luggage restrictions I want to save the five lbs. carry on weight it costs me as well as simplify my kit.  I shoot between 300-700 RAW (20 mb per image) and want to first upload them to the IPAD for review and then off load them to an external Drive.  I gather that this can be done through Safari browser on the IPAD and that the file transfer rate is acceptable (I don't need hyper fast copying, just an hour or so each night).

- Can the IPAD with Safari find either the wired or wireless Pogoplug located in the same hotel room or does it always have to go through the internet/pogoplug server?

- How does a gigibyte switch fit into this?

- Is there an IPAD specific APP for pogoplug yet?

- Appreciate any transfer rate experienced with the IPAD

Thanks
