Its a bit confusing, but when using the active copy via my.pogoplug.com, you can sync only between different pogoplug attached drives. To go from computers HD to the pogo, use the desktop app and select 'active copy' there.

Am new to pogoplug, active copy not giving me any options when I click on set up active copy on new folder it only show me folders on my extenal drive which is connected to pogo. Surly it should let me select from pc hd to pogo?
Update to this posting: I found that my PogoPlug Icon was hidden on my task bar. That's why I could not access Active Copy. This item is closed.
Active Copy Problems
Thanks for clarifying that the web app is only for different attached drives!
A few months ago I successfully set up active copy from my 64 bit Windows 7 PC to my network drive. This continues to function fine! Files are copied over with no problems.
I can see my P (PogoPlug drive) on my Windows explorer just fine and navigate to it.
I can access my PogoPlug files from my Droid X just fine.
But here is my problem:
However I can no longer add folders for Active Copy because when I click on the desktop Pogoplug program on my PC nothing happens.
I tried to update the desktop app by again downloading the the Pogoplug Drive 2.5.5 for Windows (64 bit Windows 7). But I get the message that it will only Remove Pogo Plug.
That apppears to mean my Active Copy Setting will be lost. That's not something I would like to set up again.
Looking for help. Thanks

After working fine for months, My active copy screen on my 1 windows 7 64 bit OS says copy failed for all drives. I can access the files but cannot copy anymore. I do have active copy working fine on 2 other pcs (XP and Vista) that connect to the same pogoplug.
Any ideas as to what is wrong?
For whatever it's worth, I have been struggling with active copy for a while now too. There is no option to copy from local drives at my.pogoplug.com. I *do* get the option from http://goflexnet.pogoplug.com or http://dockstar.pogoplug.com though. I don't like the fact that in order to use the copy you have to 'publish' or use the pogoplug feature to let you get to your data remotely...but it does finally work after hours of struggling. Suppose a combo of this publishing/copy with GoodSync and Comodo backup will work just fine. good luck!
Such a shame that active copy has been replaced by the truly awful backup. I want my money back. Complete deal breaker for me. Pogiplugh have taken thier one truly great piece of functionality away and replaced it with this garbage. I DO NOT WANT YOU TO CHOOSE MY FILE STRUCTURE FOR ME POGOPLUG.
