I can connect at home, on my wifi, but when I'm on another, outside wifi network, it says "drive not connected."

Also, when I'm on my ipad or iphone, I can't create a thread on this forum. I can type in the title box, but when I tap on the Text box, it doesn't bring up a keyboard on either device.

Thanks.

Came home and also couldn't connect from local wifi.
Drive is attached and turned on. Seagate network adapter running PP software is green lighted, Airport Extreme is running and I'm connected to internet.

MyPogoplug settings says the drive is there...BUT the PP library says no drive is attached.

I have unregistered it and reregistered it, and I still can't get to it.

I have installed the desktop software. There are some active copy folders that used to work, now say "failed." I click stop and start, their button turns green, but no data transferred.

Had hoped to work while traveling, but this seems unreliable.

Please tell me it's a simple fix.

Same here. How do we resolve this issue?

I had a similar problem a while ago. I am pretty sure that it had to do with active copy. I used active copy to copy from a drive on my PP to a drive at a remote PP. When it completed the copy I moved the contents of the remote active copy directory and deleted the contents of the local active copy directory. Then both PPs started having the kind of issues you describe. I turned off active copy and rebooted both machines. Next time I turned active copy back on it all happened again -- but didn't need to reboot them.

My conclusion -- don't mess with the source and target of active copy at the same time. I no longer use active copy myself.

I'm afraid I've solved it by returning the network adapter and subscribing to Dropbox. Never had any problem with it, and I've already spend at least 5 hours trying to get this to work. Nice idea, but perhaps another time
