I tried to set my recorded tv folder for media center to a drive n pogoplug but it says that it is FAT 32 and it cannot be done.  I thought my drives were NTFS.  What can I do.  Thanks

You could reformat your drive to NTFS if your version of windows allows.

I have already done that but when it is connected to the pogoplug it is seen as FAT32.

I have the same problem (Windows Media Center [WMC] 7 on Windows 7 x64), where all of my drives are correctly formatted as NTFS, but are reported as FAT32 both in Windows Explorer and WMC. I have been writing to my local drive and then using MCEBuddy to convert to MP4 and place on my pogoplug. Definitely not the ideal...

Actually...I was going to start a thread on this very issue! If a drive is formatted as NTFS Pogoplug sees it as FAT32. That is what I'm seeing when using the Pogoplug App (not the web app). I'm afraid to copy when it is being reported incorrectly.

The Pogoplug drive app will show it as FAT32 but it is indeed NTFS. That is by design for some back-end reason.
It is not supposed to affect anything or any file size limitations.

Just to make sure Brandon...If I copy a 7 gig file from one drive to a Pogoplug connected drive Windows isn't going to balk that it is FAT32 or fail to copy because it exceeds the filesize limit of 4 gig?

I too was trying to use a Pogo connected drive for recording video from WMC 7.

Is there a work around for Pogo showing drives a FAT32?
