You can require people to enter a password and "log in" to the My.Pogoplug service, but I am not aware of any way to require an individual password per file or per share that one must enter to access.

On the pogoplug, is it possible to set a password and restrict access to shared files?
I haven't tried the pogoplug yet, and I'm just judging by the documentation. I don't like the idea of people downloading my files without any password.
Thanks,
Max
Like the above question, I own a surveillance company. I have several adjusters that work for various insurance carries. I would like to put the video of the subject on pogo, but the adjuster should only be able to look at their specific subject and not "snoop" around and look at anther company or adjusters video.
Thanks,
Jim
I think this can be achieved if you only share the file with that one person (email address). Additionally you can force them to create a my.pogoplug.com account and then in the sharing options for that person's folder check the box to require sign in to view files. This is what I am doing for wife. I invited her to certain shares, had her create the account and then she can see what I have allowed when signed in. It provides a decent enough level of protection I think from random browsing of files. You may not be able to do it per file but just setup folders per person you need to share with.
@Jim,
Probably the best way to do that is just create a folder for each adjuster. Then you upload the video to that adjusters folder. So each one has their own folder to browse and can't get to any one else's.
You could also setup an active copy to run in the background that copies all files from each adjusters folder into one main folder that only you have access to. That way if you want a master folder of everything just for yourself you don't have to jump around different ones to find the video you want.
