I have multiple computers, mostly Macs and a couple PCs. Can I have the PogoPlug Drive application running on each computer simultaneously? If so, can I use my same login for active copy on each computer?

I have had the Pogoplug Drive software running simultaneously on at least 2 machines plus mobile clients at virtually all times - I have both a Windows and Mac machine in my office; both run Pogoplug Drive at the same time. You shouldn't have any issues, but if you do, make sure to report them to Pogoplug official support.

I've had 2 Windows machines and 1 Mac running simultaneously. You should be fine. But like Peter said, if you have issues, report them.

Just got my pogoplug today :) and plan to use it on up to 5 local computers at once, usually just 2 macs but also have a third mac and 2 pcs. What's the proper way to eject a drive in this case?

So far, I only tested this with 2, an iMac running 10.5 and a G5 running 10.4. I ejected the drive on my imac and it said that it couldn't eject 'cause the drive was in use. I logged in via web and ejected it there, no problem, but then it was still showing up on the imac and G5. Thought it just wasn't refreshed so I trusted the web when it said it was ejected, unplugged the drive and then had to wait about 5 minutes before the light went from yellow back to green and before I could mount another drive.

I just updated from the old software to the new one and I have lot of troubles with Active Copy now that it's done from the browser. On my desktop it works fine, it shows it in the shared drives, and I could add active copy from folders on my desktop to the pogoplug drive.

On my laptop though, it installed fine but I cant setup any Active Copy. It brings me to the same web page, where I only see the pogoplug drive and my Desktop. Not seeing the Laptop there prevents me to setup any active copy from my laptop to my pogoplug device. The shared pictures, video, desktop, etc folders also don't appear in the pogoplug when I look.

I submited a ticket but got no reply yet...
