Hi folks,

I've setup my pogoplug and have created a folder to share with family. I added the email addresses and invited them (even gave them full access).

They have received the email "View it Now' and can access the folder but can't upload. There are no options to do this. Am I missing something.

I look forward to suggestions,

O2bwln

I believe that they have to be "signed in" to the My.Pogoplug service with an account in order to upload files, assuming (like you mentioned) that you have given them full access. Ask them if they have done this, and if they are still having issues, you should probably contact Pogoplug support to see if something else is going on.

Peter,
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, signing in doesn't seem to work. I sent my alternate email address a share request and tried signing in but it wouldn't let me. I will contact support to see if they can figure it out.

Thanks

"Full Access" is a little tricky to see, but make double-sure that it's turned on. The other problem (I've discovered) is that a firewall or router may not be passing UDP packets or the particular port for UDP (4365) may be blocked.

Hmmm.. funny you should say that - I had an email from my Vigor 2820N router the other day telling me that my pogoplug was trying to DDOS me:

2011/03/08 12:12:56 -- [DOS][Block][udp_flood, timeout=10][192.168.1.12:32771->38.122.2.46:4365][UDP][HLen=20, TLen=1442]
2011/03/08 18:55:33 -- [DOS][Block][udp_flood, timeout=10][192.168.1.12:32771->38.122.2.46:4365][UDP][HLen=20, TLen=1442]

It may be that I have revisit my router settings and allow for this false positive. Incidentally, is there a list of port numbers and protocols that the plug uses? It may make setting it up properly a bit easier..

PS .. I tried this on the router which lets me telnet in locally - will give it another try and report back:

> dos -d ATTACK_F udpflood
udpflood is disabled!
