This morning I discovered that all my photos on my Western Digital drive are inaccessible. I get the "broken photo" icon pictured below beside all my photos. Videos stored on the same drive seem to be okay so far. I can't download any of these photos.

How do I begin to solve this problem? What info can I provide for those of you more experienced with this system than I clearly am?
