i'm going crazy ;)

i'm not getting my "umlauts" like Ä, Ö und Ü to work. On the Plug runs openpogo and samba2... connecting via windows-network, my "Ä" looks like "ü". Now i'm not able to store files with umlauts using samba... My actual smb.conf :

[global]
workgroup = WORKGROUP
server string = Pogoplug Samba2 Server
;hosts allow = 192.168.1..
null passwords = yes
guest account = root
log file = /opt/var/log/samba/log.%m
max log size = 50
security = share
encrypt passwords = no
smb passwd file = /opt/etc/samba/smbpasswd
dns proxy = no
client code page = 850
character set = ISO8859-1

[waka]
comment = Test share
path = /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sda2/waka
available = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
printable = no
create mask = 0777
guest ok = yes
browseable = yes

[wuka]
comment = Test share
path = /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sda2/wuka
available = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
printable = no
create mask = 0777
guest ok = yes
browseable = yes

Greets,

edit: using Samba3 works like a charm with Umlauts, even if it eats 3-4% more cpu...
