Was it a PDF you viewed from my.pogoplug before? Your Web Browser may have cached that file and read it off your computer's HD.
I just set up Pogoplug and did some tests w a new USB hard drive from Hitachi that powers off and spins down after a period of non-use. When I came back hours later and went to my pogopplug web page, I was able to view uploaded PDF files quickly, but the Hitachi never powered up. So, you must have copies of my files stored, correct? I thought you advertised that you did not hold customer's files.

Hi Brandon - I thought of that too, so I used a different browser app (Firefox instead of Safari on a Mac), but still got the message "The file is being uploaded to Pogoplug servers for web conversion", still saw the files quicker than they could have been uploaded from here considering my DSL speed, and never did my local drive spin up.
Perhaps the copies UL'd to the Pogo server do not get trashed immediately after a viewing, and are still there for a while?
