The Pogoplug is super easy to set up... not much advice to give :)
You could install it on the Windows or Mac, either way works just as well.
1. Plug Pogoplug into wall
2. Plug Pogoplug into your LAN+Internet
3. Connect the hard drive(s) you want to use
4. Go to my.pogoplug.com
5. Register with your unique code
I would put the device by the machine you use the most. Let us know if you have any more questions!
Pogo is in the mail, coming June 10.
Any advice with set-up would be appreciated.
Here's my network on 1000 ethernet:
D-Link 1008D switch
1 Mac G5 running Leopard 10.5.8 because of PPC (not Intel chip)
1 Windows XP w/SP3 Quad-core desktop (I use Dragon Naturally Speaking.)
1 Mac laptop new MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard 10,6.x
(Laptop is running Parallels 5.0 with Windows 7.)
How best to configure for easy access?
