I have never gotton past the amber light indicating the Docstar isn't comunicating with the router.  Tried everything.  I am on an Imac with bootcamp running windows xp service pack 3 with an Airport Extreme rounter. I tried the activation through Seagate and never got past the second step, an amber light indicating the dockstar is not communicating with the router. Instruction were to go to Seagate troubleshooting page whch list several possible problems which I have addressed. I opened a UDP port in the windows Firewall to service.pogoplug.com port 4365 and I mapped a UDP port through the airport extreme. Still have an amber light. I have reset and unplugged the dockstar several times as well as my router. What next guys? Please help?
