The Android app is pretty weak as well...don't feel alone over there with your Palm lol. I think iPhone is the only one getting love on the mobile front :-/
I've had my Pogoplug a few days now and the setup was as easy as advertised. However, I am disappointed with the WebOS App. The music player plays only one song at a time. There does not seem to be a way to play a folder of tunes or shuffle. Playlists don't show up in the app either. The scrubber is also missing. I plan to buy an Android device in the next few weeks. Is the Android app also missing these features? Are there plans to add these features in the future and if so when? If not, I will return the device and look for another solution.
I have a Palm Pre...love the phone. The pogoplug app for the Pre is really weak at best. :(

Yes we all love as many add-ons as we can get. But you cant fault them for giving you a free app that will let you see and play your entire 1TB music collection on a 16GB phone. I love it. (thats reminds me there is a song I wanted to listen to on my home computer. If only there was a way to look it up and listen to in on my mobile phone.....)
We are working on new versions for iPhone, iPad and Android that should address a lot of the issues, and add a lot of great new functionality. It's looking really good - should be ready for April, with beta starting in earlier. If you are up for being on the beta, send a quick email to beta@pogoplug.com.
We will do a refresh on Blackberry and Palm apps, but I don't have a timeframe yet.
I have to say this doesn't really work on my pre2 - I'm kind of disappointed as well. I can't get videos to play at all. Music loads only 25 titles at a time (a way to set this in preferences or by folder or *something* would be better) and no play lists. And the photo section just spins forever - perhaps if the thumbnails were not trying to load - I don't know - It just isn't usable. The Kalemsoft Media Player app for the works way better for steaming Audio and Video(sorry) but it has not photo support.
On the other hand, the streaming video through the website is really dazzling. If it weren't for that, I might have uninstalled it. Although I won't use it for the phone unless the app is improved. I'll probably use the web based sharing for a while. Who knows - maybe it'll work with the new HP TouchPad Web Browser?
I have seen the new app on iphone: great! I want the same features for my pre or the new hp touchpad. btw: does the web-version work well on the touchpad?
It's a mixed bag. Photos work OK. Video seems to work very well. But music won't play at all. It seems to have something to do with how the player is implemented and the TP browser handles it.
