Have you downloaded and installed the Pogoplug Drive software that mounts your pogoplug on your desktop?

I dont see how to upload a folder by drag and drop methods from My Desktop or My Documents
Is it posssible to do this
If not I would not recommend this product

Yes...all you have to do is install the Pogoplug software then you can drag and drop as you would any other time.

did what you said and redownloaded the software
But it does noit work by drag and drop
Pleasae give me sepcific instructions on how this feature works,how do I get oit to work
I have tried this at home on my network and at the office and it simply does not work
I cannot recommend this poroduct if this feature is not availible

It sounds like you're using a Windows PC so if you are not please let me know as I'm using a Mac and can help with that if need be. I need to ask if you understand the difference between Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer i.e., a web browser? I ask because I'm wondering if you are attempting to drag your files to the web browser instead of to the proper drive letter. For instance the drive letter for Pogoplug is probably P:
Do you see drive letter P: when you open the "My Computer" icon on your Desktop? If you do see it then you should be able to double-click on drive letter P: or which ever drive letter says it's Pogoplug then drag your files to the proper folder in that window.
If you don't see a drive letter for Pogoplug then the Pogoplug drive software is probably not running. If it is running you should see the Pogoplug icon in your System Tool Tray at the bottom right of your screen. If it's not there then you should launch Pogoplug by going to the Start menu -> All Programs -> Pogoplug and click Pogoplug. If it's not in your Start menu then it isn't installed or the installation procedure may have failed and you will need to try running the installer again.
Depending on your version of Windows it may be a little different than I describe so if these instructions don't help please give us as much information about what you've tried and which version of Windows you are running and that will help us to be able to help you more.

I have not seen any instructions like this in pogolpug site
i do remember somethoing like this when I had the 35 Gig storage on internet from AMD when they did this for free uploads with similar instructions.
However i seem to also be having problems logging on with the software
Maybe the company is now blocking it
Ill try later on my home network and see if this instruction featuree allows it to work

The drive P shows up at my home computer
But Cant upload anything
Says needs permissions
Dont know how to change these
Tried everything to give it permission to do the uploads but doesnt work

From Window systems it does not let you upload folders. This seems silly so you have to do high labor. It makes the tool 100 times less useful. Where it says upload file it should also have upload folder. But it does not. So it is 1000 times less useful. DO NOT BUY this until they fix it. One file at a time. What good is having unlimited storage of USB attachment. If I want to upload a few folders with lost of files I have to do it one at a time. HOW Stupid!!!!!
