Has anyone used Acronis with Pogoplug to back up onto a remote computer?

I have. I backed up my files to my pogoplug through Acronis 2009.

Thanks for your quick response. Did you do this to a HDD locally or remotely? What model HDD do you have? Was it a one-time or a Non-stop backup?

I'm hoping to get this setup, but I'd like some assurance it can be done before putting in more money.

Thanks

No problem. The backup was done on my LAN...my Pogoplug is in the living room and my computer is in my bedroom. I use WD HDDs; one is a 350 gig and the other is 1 terabyte...I'll be adding another one within the next few months. As far as the kind of backups, one of them was a one-time-thing (the one that backed up my entire PC), the rest were incremental backups (my music, pictures, etc). I don't use it anymore because I use Active Copy to backup all my files. I was just telling you that I HAVE done it before and it DID work.

Cheers!
