I have one user (client) who uses my Pogoplug drive. He is unable to upload because the button is grayed out. Couple months ago Pogoplug support wrote that users must create an account in order to upload. My user did that and still the button is grayed out.

I then used my wife's laptop and her email account to access the Pogoplug and I created an account for her. I logged on and I verified that the upload button is indeed grayed out.

What could I be doing wrong? Thanks

Did you turn on "Full Access" for them on the share when you created it? If you didn't the default access level is only "View/Download"

I have the same problem. I noticed that I had to give full access. I did and my user is able to go through the process of uploading, but the files never actually get uploaded. What could be wrong?

I rechecked my share settings as per MacMike's tip and it's possible that I had not actually granted full access. I then did so. My user reported the button was no longer grayed out, but he was still unable to upload. The files just did not go anywhere.

Recently this same user reported to me that he just switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox. Now, suddenly, everything works! I didn't ask him which version of IE he was using, but he believes there was an incompatibility. So you might want to try a different browser.

Forgot to mention: My user had also tried turning off his firewall and that did not solve the problem. He also borrowed his wife's laptop (but still using IE) and still could not upload.
