I just found out about this pogoplug deal today, and honestly I just want a straight answer.

I am a web designer and need to access my external hard drives from around my house and on the road. I have a thinkpad with XP, a macbook pro with snow leopard, and a droid.

Will this work with all my devices and furthermore how well does it perform when streaming music on verizon's droid?

I too am a web designer, have a PC running XP, a macbook running snow leopard, and a Motorola CLIQ. My Pogoplug works fine on all my devices. Don't know about streaming music on the Droid, but it streams fine on the CLIQ. Cheers!

The Pogoplug Drive software works really well with XP and Snow Leopard (I have 2 Macs and a PC.) Again, I cannot confirm streaming performance on Droid but iPhone and iPad streaming is fantastic. The Pogoplug should do exactly what you're looking for.

You'll want to make sure to install the Drive software, though; that way your Pogoplug connected drives will behave just like any other hard drive on your machine.

Great, thank you both. I now pose this question: For all the extremely useful functions this product is touting, and the good reviews I have seen so far, does it really have to look like a little girl's karaoke machine?
I would love to see a black or white one

@organik Lol! That's good! Honestly, it doesn't bother me at all because it's hidden in my entertainment center so nobody ever sees it...including myself. Maybe the guys over at Cloud Engines could just make a snap-on cover for it to just cover the pink. I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult to construct and they could sell it for like $10 or something. IDK, just a thought...
