if you are not on the same lan as your pogoplug (IE traveling or something) does the pogoplug still show up like a connected hard drive if you are online?

ive been using dropbox for months now and i would love to start using a pogoplug and drobo to replace it with more storage. it would put me over the edge and i would finally buy it if i knew it was easy to use in explorer (windows xp and win7 here) when you arent on the same lan as the pogoplug.
