I have a 500GB drive in three partitions. One of the partitions has all the av files and is being scanned constantly (many days).

I have that partition set to:
Allow Pogoplug to optimize videos for playback: NEVER,
Allow Pogoplug to process media meta-data: As soon as possible,
Allow Pogoplug to generate thumbnails: As soon as possible.

I don't want anything transcoded (until you can make it faster), and I have the other partitions set to never for everything.

It's been processing for days and I get the warning that the plug will be less responsive every time I log on. Metadata and thumbnails can't be that hard to process. I dont have any confidence that the processing will ever end. Is there a way to get things processed and my plug back to normal?
