I am having the same problem with a WD 350g Passport dirve. I noticed you have been ignored for almost a month. I got a message saying my WD was READ ONLY and I should click a button to find a solution, then a message flashed on and off so quickly I have no clue what it said.
Did you try calling support? Did you find a solution.
It POGOPLUG support any good? Do they respond? It does not look like they monitor the forums to solve user problems.
