Has any one and if its possible, set up a home security using the Pogoplug?

If so how did you do it and what equipment did you use?

I am wondering if I could connect a portable DVR (Swann Security Monitor) to my router, so that I could record and view on line away from the house.

I was thinking about buying a Vue Zone Personal Network, as it seems real easy to set up, except it seems more for live viewing.  I would like to capture for viewing later.
