OK I see we have no meet and greet here on pogoplugged.  I'm new to the site and new to pogoplug (the hardware) but I have noticed in the forums quite a few of the same folks and very friendly I might add.  So I'm curious to who everyone is?  Who are the admin/staff here?

I would love to get to know the folks here on Pogoplugged.  Feel free to post a mini bio, post your websites, blog sites, hey toss a pic up or two.  So who are you??

I'm in sunny  S. Florida and a mom of 3 boys.  For fun I like to blog and I'm the owner of the website Whitetrashrepairs.com   I have a blast on that site, I get to laugh over funny pictures that are sent to me and it pays really well.   I'm a techie (geek) girl for the most part.  I'm a PC person and I'm into custom builds.  I'm forever adding a new piece of hardware or a new card to my computer.  My kids have custom gaming rigs.  I'm also into scripts, codes and doing things that well maybe you shouldn't.  Wink  When I find something I like I tend to tweak it.  

When I'm not online or playing mom I like to travel.  I also have a love for the ocean which includes deep sea fishing.  I'm also very chatty.

I live in Colorado where it's been >65 the past few days and will be again on Sunday. Today, however, it's 30 and we have 6" of snow and getting more.

I've been in computer technology for almost 30 years. I've been a programmer (system and application), architect and independent contractor. I'm in management now so dabbling in this stuff keeps me sane (with limited success, I'm afraid) I'm trying to start a small business.

My main hobby is audio and home theater. Hey everybody.

My name is Pete, and I'm the admin/editor here at Pogoplugged. I work for Capable Networks as a community manager, writer, editor, etc. I love working with Pogoplug; it's an awesome gadget that I use practically every day. I echo your thoughts on the forum here; you guys and gals are awesome.

Personally, I'm into anything computer/tech/gadget related, especially Macs, mobile tech (smartphones, etc) and video games. Occasionally I enjoy nerding out and doing hacky stuff like dabbling with code, breaking out the soldering iron, modifying routers, etc. I'm huge into the old school gaming scene; I have about 200 NES cartridges and an original DOS machine with an *original* 8-bit SoundBlaster card in it... to give you an idea :) Anyway, I feel very fortunate that I get to work in such a great field doing something I love.

As you can see by my signature, I'm on Twitter and Buzz and keep a blog at one of our other communities, TechLore.com.

Thanks go to everyone on the forum that makes this a great place to be, and the fine folks at Cloud Engines for creating and supporting such a wonderful and useful product!

I'm JJ! I'm NOT an admin (although I wish I was because I'm a HUGE fan of my Pogo). I too am a geek at heart. Like Debbie, I WAS from sunny south Florida until I moved to New York City last December. I work for a market research firm from 9-5 and build websites in my spare time.

Great idea Debbie.

I don't post much personal info about me but..

I am Lead Mod here and helped Capable Networks and Cloud Engines get together and setup the site here. 

Also assist on other Capable Network Sites, Lead Mod on Sling Community, Mod at MyOpenRouter.
Have posted several articles on these sites and the only reason I mention this is because anyone can write and contribute articles for publication here. The more the better. (shameless plug) Smile

I have been messing with computer and geek stuff for years. So as one of my favorite saying goes.... "There are a lot of strands in the old duder's brain" Wink
