I would love to see longer file names and to be able to see the size of the file.  I logged on today to snag a file (I'm at work) and I realized I have 4 files that start off the same text wise.  Short of downloading them all (large files) I'm stuck playing a guessing game.  I guess tonight I get to edit the file names to shorten them unless there is some way to do this that I'm just not seeing. 

Sorry still new to pogoplug and I'm still learning so maybe I'm missing it.  Any input would be great.

Ok second thing - maybe I didn't see it.  Is there a meet and greet thread here?  Short of clicking on everyone's profile here it would be nice.  Just a few bio lines to get to know everyone since it seams like a nice little group of folks here. Plus see who the staff/admin is here on the site.

Rolling over the filename with your mouse should show you the whole filename.

The Alt text shows the full file names (the text you see when your cursor is over the file name). Another thing you can do is change your view to the "List View"...that shows more text than the thumbnail view does. The "List View" also shows the file size (in kilabytes I believe).

Thanks guys for the info.  I didn't notice you can change the view to list (duh), I do like that much better.  Size wise I put everything in files so I guess I need to open them up and do the math with all of the items inside - some have many so ugh.  Maybe in the future we can have it where is shows size on the files too (please).

Oh and in case anyone is looking here is the converison for file sizes (yes its in KB here):

1024 KB =  1 MB

1024 MB =  1 TB

1024 TB = 1 PB (good luck downloading that size)
