I can access pogoplug on Windows as drive P: and on Mac as a mount called Pogoplug. I go to my.pogoplug.com and use the same credentials and it tells me no such email has been registered. What gives?

This is interesting, the cached system lets me in, but if I sign out in pogoplug drive preferences, I cannot get back in. Interesting....

I'm having the same issue. My email and password are not working. Maybe the update has something to do with it or and issue with the server.

Cloud Engines is very much aware of this issue and is working hard right now to correct it, more details here:

Hey everyone

http://my.pogoplug.com is back up. The various problems that people were seeing that showed up as 500 errors as well as login errors have been resolved. Our engineering team was alerted when the problem showed up and went to work immediately to resolve it. We certainly regret the inconvenience this service outage has caused, and definitely appreciate the quick responses here and to our support team on this issue.

Thanks all!
Jon

Not sure if it's the same problem, but here it goes..

When I try to log in I get this message on Firefox (3.6)

You are using a browser we don't officially support. For best results, please use a more recent version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari.

I actually see the login screen for a fraction of a second then it disappears. and gives me the above message. ?

Sent a ticket to the support team 2 days ago, Adam just told me to use IE, I tried, but I really don't like it so would like a fix for Firefox.

Thanks

I still can't log back in. I'm using IE8. I go to my.pogoplug.com and put my email address in and password, click "Secure Sign In" and it just refreshes back to the same screen, but the URL is changed to: https://my.pogoplug.com/index.html#logout

I have done the "Forgot your password", reset the password (to the same password), and it let me in. But the next time I try to log in, I get the same response.

PS, I've tried with Firefox 3.7 and get the same message as Nathan.

I have exactly the same problem. I have the LATEST version of Firefox, Chrome and IE. And tried this with EACH ONE.

Only difference Is I can log in from one desktop on my network (Vista64)
But when I try to log in from my laptop (Vista32) on the web I get the same "just refreshes back to the same screen, but the URL is changed to: https://my.pogoplug.com/index.html#logout"

HELP

@Nathan - I've logged a bug to allow users to log into the site after seeing that message, but I'm curious - I'm on XP, FF 3.6.3 - what version are you on?

@Rhoadrunner&Kregor7 - this sounds like an issue for support - I'd suggest you email them; they should respond quickly.

has this issue been fixed? I'm encountering the same problem. Tried firefox, ie and chrome in Windows XP.

Do you have cookies enabled? You need to allow a session cookie to be set, or you won't be able to login.

Same login problem.
Browser Safari 5.0.1

I think that the problem was after install the Pogoplug Drive 2.1.2 for Mac.

Removing the cookies, and the problem was solved.

Mine works on Firefox, but not on Google Chrome (using Kubuntu 10.4)

I encounter the same/similar problem. Both with Chrome and Firefox.
When I try to login, I get instead the my.pogoplug.com/index#logout page.
When I clear the cache, I can log in but the next time it fails again.
It works well on the iPhone app though. Any suggestions

Hello, I have this problem with Chrome but not with IE or the pogodrive. As Chrome is supposed to be a supported browser and I was struggling to get my new Pogoplug working yesterday. I much prefer Chrome so was looking for a reason. I have tried clearing the cache and cookies but so far without success.

PS How do you submit a support request if you can't log in at all?

October 20, 2010 4:16 PM

OK now. I have just updated to the latest version of the Chrome browser. Immediately after that I had no problem logging into my.pogoplug.com.

Best wishes to anyone who has a similar problem. It is a very frustrating error for a newbie. You don't know if you have got the user name or password wrong or if the device is faulty or what to do to resolve the problem.

A more user friendly response than just log me out and return to the login screen would help.

i get it too. i am using the chrome beta and it still has the problem. if you want go into the wrench and click on tools then report an issue. send a report to google to let them know its not working properly. i keep doing it hope others do too so they actually take notice.
