I have just purchased a Dockstar and the first thing I did was to perform the PlugApps for Pogoplug Install to USB. Now I want to add Samba, media, and print servers ect. I tried the Samba but it appears that I need open pogo.  Can someone point me to some directions to install the OpenPogo on my PlugApps USB install? Or get me pointed in the right direction :) This is my first forray into Linux for my own personal use, so all the concepts are basically new to me. I do have some co-workers that I can assist if I have some general directions though.

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks for the reply ianjb

I don't think I had tried this before, but I didn't get far. Any suggestions?

Run pacman -Sy samba again. Added this to the guide for clarity.

Thanks for the help, but no joy. Things seem to be in flux WRT how things are on multiple web sites. Mabey I should just start fresh(assuming I must have grabbed the wrong install guide) Is there another USB install guide that I should have used, other than this?
http://plugapps.com/index.php5?title=PlugApps_for_Pogoplug_Install_to_USB
The install did go smoothly, I even kept a log of the whole thing if it would help to see it.

IMO the PogoPlug is a gateway drug to being hooked on Linux. The whole USB install aspect of this makes headless Linux much more approachable for me, knowing that I can "pull the plug" and continue as normal is very comforting to me.

Thanks again,
Dan

I just followed the guide linked and i get a similar error.
