I have been waiting for this device for ages now and am really pleased to have it at last in the UK.

 I use both Snow Leopard and Windows Vista. My question is, can I attach a usb drive which has been formatted in Mac and another in Windows and address them both remotely?

 I am keeping my fingers crossed the answer is yes.

 This has got to be the device of the year

@PeterBall

Yes, yes, Pogoplug is for intents and purposes filesystem agnostic.

From the specifications page http://pogoplug.com/meet/specs.html

Drive Formats: NTFS, FAT32, Mac OS Extended Journaled and non-Journaled (HFS+), EXT-2/EXT-3

Definitely yes, Peter! I'm a Mac user at heart but also have several PC's in the house, and Pogoplug plays super nice with every machine. (My Pogoplug connected drive is HFS+ Journaled) It's pretty awesome having access to music/files from my phone and any PC I can get my hands on :)

Will it work with my Time Machine drive, so it can be elsewhere in the house?

Apparently Not! I got my new Pogoplug yesterday and set it up. It won't work as a Time Machine but still, its really a very good backup and sharing device. I reccomend it to anyone
