Is that possible?  I've edited rcS to mount a USB drive with a single ext2 partition as /opt, before the line that runs hbmgr.  It works fine - I've got /opt as I want it.  But when hbmgr starts, the USB drive is also mounted as /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sda1, and visible via my.pogoplug.com.  (/opt still works.)

Is there a method to tell hbmgr (or hbwd) to ignore a device or partition?

Perhaps a Cloud Engines person could address this?

I'm curious, too, why hbstart/hbwd needs to create /tmp/.cemnt/sdxx 'devices' for the USB drive partitions, when the /dev/sdxx ones are quite accessible - ?

Thanks much.

Can't you just go into my.pogoplug and eject that HD or partition? After that it should'nt be shown anymore.

No, the 'ejected' drive (not physically removed) seems to be soon rediscovered again. And it wouldn't survive a reboot.
