Please contact support@pogoplug.com - they'll help figure out what's happening.
I have two drives connected to the plug and they're both formatted as Mac OS Journaled. I use the pogoplug application on my mac to mount the drives. If I drag a folder of stuff to the drive it will start to copy but then fail after some random amount of time.
I can't even delete files from one of the drives... I get an error that says "The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8072)."
My plans to use the pogoplug as a "storage in the cloud" solution haven't worked once in the month I've had this thing.
What am I doing wrong? Is it the formatting of the drive? Drive type (do SATA work better than IDE? Is flash better than both?)
What I really want to do is have each drive contain a .sparseimage file so that I can use my preferred backup utility, Super Duper!, to perform my backups. Most of the time I can't even *mount* the images that I have stored on the pogoplug drives.
