Hey Jim - you can go to Settings and under your email addresses click "add"
however, if you are simply trying to share drives or folders, you can give people access to just a portion of your account.
Best,
Jon

Could somebody explain how to create multiple owners.
Thanks

Hi Jon,
Thanks for your reply. I had an email conversation with Chris in tech support and found out that I cannot do what I was expecting to do. Yes you can allow read/write access to shared folder by invitation. What I would like is to allow someone ownership of a folder. If they had ownership of a folder then they could invite whoever they wish to use their folders. Currently only the owner of the drive can send invitations to shares. I don't want my child to have ownership of the drive but I do want them to have ownership of there personal folder. Hopefully this feature will get added in the future. Then Pogoplug will be an exceptional family resource and value.
Thanks
Jim
I have the same need, I wish in a future release, that pogoplug allows to a "full access" guest to send an invitation to another person.
Same need here. I want to be able to pick and choose who has access to what on my pogoplug device as well as my computer. E.g. I want my kids to be able to get to the pogoplug device, but not have access to my laptop that is running pogoplug software. Can multiple accounts access the same pogoplug device? If so, how?
sjgately,
All you need to do is set up what folders/files you want to share with your kids.
You setup your main account and do not give your login info to anyone.
Then you pick which folders on your Pogoplug or computer you want to share with your kids.
Once setup they can login, setup their own password and get access to only what you have shared with them.
Ok - so I created a file folder for each of my boys on my pogoplug and shared each child's folder with that child. I can put things in their folder and they can view these items. However, they are unable to copy items off of their macs to these folders. It says that authentication is required and asks for their password. When the put in the password, it acts as if it is copying but does not copy the file. Help!
Yes, I'd also like to know how.
I have three hard drives attaching to the Pogoplug, 1 for my personal, 1 for my work, last 1 for my family pictures backup.
I would like all family members to access to the family drive (or a specified folder on that drive) only, so they don't have access to my personal and work drives.
According to Brandon's suggest, I could only generate a link for other people I would like to share to VIEW only. For upload or other actions, it seems like I still need to give them my master login and password. That's not what I want... or that's something that we cannot do at this moment?? Brandon??
Mano,
When you setup a share for them you turn on the other actions, download, etc.
Then they would go to the site via the email that is sent to them.
They then can setup their own login/password for just their use.

When I share a folder to others,
1) i clicked on the folder, click "Share", then a pop-up screen with the folder name.
2) I clicked next, the email address screen was on, I entered an email address, and choose "Full Access" on that email address, and then click "Finish".
3) I open the link from the sent email, a share page was loaded but only can view and download. I don't see anywhere that I can upload. On the left, I saw "Sign in to your account for great new features. Click here to sign in.", but it only allow for existing user to login, no where for visitor to have their own login/password.
Am I missing anything???
